We believe that beautiful design can and should be functional. Our thoughtfully designed personal care essentials offer an opportunity to redefine how you live, starting with your daily routine.

Our first collection of hair accessories debuted in early 2018. This collection of clips, barrettes, and combs is made at a family-owned and -operated factory in France using plant-based plastics and pre-consumer recycled materials.

A journey to live a more conscious lifestyle.

In 2021, we expanded our collection to include hair care products. Inspired by founder Bec Mapes’ own journey to live a more conscious lifestyle, she saw an opportunity to create something meaningful within this space while innovating on the market’s current offerings. Our solid shampoo provides a way to help consumers become more sustainable in their daily lives.

Bec Mapes holds a BFA from Pratt Institute in New York City, where she lived and worked for ten years. After establishing Winden, Mapes relocated to Santa Fe, New Mexico.
